Historic Boykin
Take a step back in time with a visit to the Historic Boykin community where you can see meal
and grits ground by water power at Boykin Mill and watch as brooms are handmade on 100 year-old original equipment at The Broom Place. Shoppers will be intrigued at the Boykin Company Grille which offers gifts, gourmet foods, and delicious lunch and dinner.
Reservations may be made for gourmet dining at one of South Carolina's finest restaurants, Mill Pond Steak House at Boykin. Nearby is Swift Creek Church where generations of worshipers lifted their voices in prayer. Today the church serves as a meeting house and wedding venue. Rosalee's Cottage, across from the church, is available to rent for receptions and meetings.
