Held in the Spring each year, the Legislative event functions as a face-to-face opportunity for Chamber members to hear first-hand from their federal (if available) and state legislators. In addition to hearing the latest on legislative issues that impact our business, attendees are able to ask questions of the legislators present during the event.
This event is being held on April 30, 2021 at 1042 W. DeKalb Street in Camden (Kershaw County Parks & Recreation Department building). Tickets MUST be purchased for the event and the event typically sells out. Therefore, please complete the online registration form provided HERE. This form allows you to designate your interest in sponsorship as well.
NOTE: this location is within the City limits of Camden and therefore, their mask ordinance will be in effect during this event. We will spread attendees out to the best of our ability. However, we expect that you will need to wear a mask for the entirety of the event. Thank you in advance for following this policy.
State of the County
Another event held in the Spring is the Chamber's State of the County event. This event allows Chamber members to hear about the county's activities and successes over the past year, as well as learn what their priorities are for the coming year. This year, the Chamber is including a panelist from KershawHealth to provide an update and progress regarding the impact of the pandemic on our community.
This event is being held on May 13, 2021 (Location TBD). Tickets MUST be purchased for the event. Therefore, please complete the online registration form provided HERE. This form allows you to designate your interest in sponsorship as well.
For both events, if you have any questions or need additional information, please call the office at (803) 432-2525.
