Colonial Christmas in Camden

Step back to Colonial times and take a break from the hustle and bustle. Interpretive guides in period dress give you and your family a peek at how the Yuletide Season was celebrated in Colonial Camden, "South Carolina's Oldest Inland City." The Kershaw-Cornwallis house will be decorated in season finery as the guides will share holiday customs during Colonial times.

Play colonial games, write with a quill pen, and sample delectable 18th century refreshments before you head back to today's world. Colonial Christmas in Camden is educational and fun-a holiday family must do!

This year's event will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Kershaw-Cornwallis house on the property of Historic Camden Revolutionary War Site on South Broad Street in Camden. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 6-12, and free for children under the age of six. For more information, please call (803) 432-9841.
